Post new topic

That is exactly why this topic is here. Learning from those who are there. I do realize I'll not find a place that meets all my criteria but I can dream.

It also depends where you are allowed to go,we cannot go wherever we want unfortunately unless we have a job offer,so that would narrow down utopia.Greece has its huge problems but for someone who wants to break out of the system, you can.In england if you want to buy a piece of land and put a caravan on it and live in it,God help you,the bailifs will be on you in days. You can tuck yourself in here, with your solar panel, photovoltic, chickens, ducks, goats,Iknow this because I have a house 1 hour half from Athens where people live as they please.Without those bills slipping through the letter box almost daily. And you may find a well on the land you buy.If someone has an income from somewhere then Greece can be Utopia

Actually, the Swiss Guard in the Vatican have automatic weapons too. They are true guards. Costa Rica got rid of its army. Not long ago, Nicaragua decided to bite off a piece and not give it back. Don't worry about militaries. Focus on nice people.
