I need a computer for video editing in Mongolia.聽 I need to determine whether it is more prudent to buy one here in Canada and have it shipped there, or to purchase one there.

Specifically I would be interested in knowing the availability of the following in Mongolia:
1. High end video cards, high end CPU, high end motherboards
2. Extreme resolution IPS 27" or higher monitors (2560x1440)
3. Or a singular solution like the recent iMac 27" (fully upgraded)

Any insight/assistance offered is appreciated,

Probably best to bring your own or else you'll be paying premium prices for items that aren't plastic junk from China.

What about ultra-high resolution monitors?聽 2560x1440 or more?

If someone could suggest what components are harder to come by over there - it would be much appreciated.

Hi RayT,

It is better to bring your best one from Canada. You can have computers here in UB, but little bit difficult and pay more for the professional one that meets your demand.
