hi guys, my name is Tabitha, originally from Zimbabwe but based in South Africa. I'm currently staying in Uzbekistan, Tashkent. I came to Uzbekistan in January with work. I work for an international humanitarian organization. I was very delighted to find this blog. I look forward to sharing experiences and survival tips in Uzbekistan.

is that safe to visit on holidays? is that expensive over there?
I am Brazilian and Australian citizen Do I need visa to get into Uzbekistan?

Hi Tabitha

My name is John. A zimbabwean too based in UK but currently working residing in Uzbekistan's neighbouring country Kazakhstan. We have a lot of people who drive from Uzbekistan to KZ everyday. I hope you are still in Uzbekistan as I am planning to visit the country which is not far from where I am living and working

I am looking for some one to share living experience in uzbekistan. Is it easy to get credit card in teshkent. Will it be used back home with no problem. What the rate of exchange used by visa card outside uzbekistan.
