There is a French school in Sihanoukville but to my mind no other foreign school.

Hello, I also will be settling in Sihanoukville for awhile this fall. I too looked into international schools there. The only one I too found was the French school. I looked into the international academy in P.P. It looked very good, However the tuition seemed a bit steep to me and we won't be there an entire year. I've decided on homeschooling my son while abroad. He's 12 and my daughter is 2. I'm glad to hear that there will be another mother traveling to S-ville the same time as me. take care, maybe we'll meet. Best of luck, Autumn:)

Hi,
In fact there are two primary French schools in Sihanoukville but one is run by qualified French teachers. They have a few older children they prepare for the French Lycée in Phnom Penh. They follow the French national curriculum and the tuition is very cheap. They take in Khmer-French children too and it could be an opportunity for your children to make friends and learn a little Khmer and a little French.
If you want I can easily give you the telephone of the French lady who started the school if you are still in Europe or ask her for the number of one of the teachers if you are already in Cambodia.
But anyway there are a lot of English-speaking people in Sihanoukville and you won't have any difficulty in meeting them. Some children might speak English and be a good company for your children.
Best wishes
Catherine
