Visa requirements in the Faroes

Hi,

If be really grateful to anyone who can help...my two boys and I are
Currently over here in the Faroe Islands visiting my partner.

We are keen to stay on and try and live here, but can't see a way past
the visa requirements that we only stay 3 months..

Has anyone got any ideas which visa to apply for or is there any other way of us being
able to stay...

Thanks for that...unfortunately it seems no one can
Really tell us whether Faroe Islands is part if the schengen or not.

This link says it's not, but the official schengen website says it is.

Either way, it appears that all visa issues are dealt with by the danish authorities.

We have spoken to several people here, who all agree its bear impossible to get a visa.

I am now looking at studying or working here and applying for those visas.
