Also basic package is 4800 a month then it states monthy salary is 8000 aed can anyone explain this?

How are you? actually this will be sufficient depends for example is this package includes accommodation or you have to rent one? also depends on your life style for example if you like to share accommodation with someone. also where will you work and if there's a transportation and so on.

This is JUST OK salary. You will not able to save anything if you need to pay for accommodation...

If company take care of accommodation, then it good for bachelor.

You wont be able to live alone but shared flat in reasonable expat area will cost you circa 3000 a month
The basic salery is salery without travelling and residence allowance
This is stated this way as your employer must keep 10% remitance of all salary you earn for when you leave ( a bit like a pension) so they state the lowest basic they can get away with to limit their commitment when you leave, usally it is about a 60:40 split good companies 70:30
Food and bills are cheap compared to UK and Ireland
So basically you will be left with about 900 pounds a month after rent not great but some people do it and you get good holidays.
You should get a flight home once a year as well.

Hi natalie welcome here in dubai , so ,hows your new job doin ? hope its doin good , regarding your accomodation , are you renting a room for yourself ? if so , it would be wise to share it wita a friend and you will just divide the rent , this is usually what people do here in dubai . hope youll have fun here in dubai

I am livin alone and the school is supplying as paying for my acc so it won't bother me the cost of rent!
