Hello

Any idea about the salary for IT jobs in Greece, Athens for a 9 year experienced J2EE pro? Also how much percentage of the salary has to be paid as government tax?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

I am not sure what J2EE means, i am not into IT. However salaries are not only based on experience, it also depends on which company you apply to, whether you are married (and have a child), whether you will be insured (which is the standard legal way but some smaller companies offer all kinds of deals).

In general, anything between 1500 and 2000 euros is considered very well paid. The average salary for someone with experience and a degree is 1300.

As I said though, it always depends on the company you go for.

Hope this helps, good luck..
