Passport at British Embassy Phnom Penh

Hi,

my passport is full, can anyone tell me if I can apply for a new one from Brit Embassy in PP? How long does it take? How much is it etc..

Any advice much appreciated..

It will come from Hong Kong, can take up to 6 weeks to arrive in the Phnom Penh Embassy.

A little off topic, but wow! A full passport! I've never ever had a full passport before, guess it's because my passport is like a mini dictionary at a good 1/4" thick.

The British passport could be a little too thin to be honest...

Hope you get your passport soon.

Its amazing how quickly a passport can fill up when you are constantly travelling to countries that use a full page for the visa. NZ passports have 43 pages and I managed to fill my last one up in 3.5 years!

Hey rarky, I see!
43 is considered more than adequate for other non-adventurous travellers, I must say.

Tbh, I didn't realise the number of pages of the Singaporean passport till today, checked online and it says 64. And since we do not require visas for many countries (luckily), I guess thats why I've never ran out of pages even though I hop here and there all the time. Not to mention that it expires every 5 years, before having to spend again renewing it! Quite an expensive book to upkeep lol.

Yea, you're lucky having a Singaporean pp, shame about it only being valid for 5 years though, same with NZ passports (they used to be valid for 10 years), 5 years is far too short for the average person.

5 years is good compared with 2 year Lao passport.
