What will you do on New Year's Eve?Watch TV?Spend some romantic time with your bf/gf?Spend some noisy time in the bar?Or do some crazy things with friends?
I will go to the bund this New Year's Eve.This is my first year working and living in Shanghai,it's gonna be a very special new year eve for me.Welcome to join me there. You may will see me but don't know it's me.Oh,interesting.
A wish for a good new year for all of us.

As usual I'm doing nothing. Christmas is not the most celebrated day in my family. Orthodox Easter is most important and don't mix it up with the other "regular" Easter the Catholics celebrate. lol!

Oh,I didn't mean Christmas.I don't celebrate Xmas.
K..Is Santa Claus from Canada?I always think so.Because he is in Canada red.

I thought he was from China in China red! ;)

Here is a very brief modern-day history of the origin of Santa Claus. All of this material was re-organized and edited to a simpler version to offer an overview of the modern day Santa Claus. For the "complete" history of Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, Father Christmas and Sinterklaas please refer to

Santa Claus,

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick and simply "Santa", is a mythical figure with legendary, historical and folkloric origins in many Western cultures, is said to bring gifts to the homes of the good children on 24 December, the night before Christmas.

The modern Santa Claus is partially from the Dutch figure Sinterklaas. In 1773, Sinterklaas was Americanized into "Santa Claus".

Santa Claus also has part of its basis in a Christian bishop and gift-giver Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas of Myra was a 4th-century Greek Christian bishop. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor.

The modern image of Santa Claus became popular in the United States and Canada in the 19th century due to the significant influence of the 1823 poem "A Visit From St. Nicholas" This image has been maintained and reinforced through song, radio, television, children's books and films.

Since the 20th century, the 1934 song "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town", now has Santa Claus making a list of ("naughty" or "nice") children throughout the world, and delivering presents, including toys, and candy to all of the well-behaved children in the world, and sometimes coal to the naughty children, on the single night of Christmas Eve. He accomplishes this feat with the aid of the elves who make the toys in the workshop and the flying reindeer who pull his sleigh.

Hope this helps,

Kris

Oh,that is not safe to set off lanterns, right?Maybe you should find somewhere with no guards.
It's danger to play with fire. Why not look for some other activities for fun?
