Hello everybody , I wanna meet with new friends . Are there any meeting soon ?
Hello Julien,
I am from Canada and have been living in Antalya for 15 years and since, have seen the expat community here reach to the highest levels. There are over 50 different foreign nationals currently living in Antalya.
With your expat members at such a high audiance rate, it would be great to effect the first grand get-together event to be held in the Old City of sunny Antalya.
I would love to have your support to to organize a gathering with the other members, and also have the local television channel and newspapers attend to report this event.
Should you agree, I would like to take the lead to make the meet-up a success. Our contribution would be free advertising banners, drinks and snacks.
Thanks for time and I await your comments.
Kind Regards,
Razi Daz
Hi tpw,

Please note that a member of our communications department who deals with the get-together events will get into contact with you very soon.
Thanks & Regards

Thanks in advance!Â
I don't think anything has been arranged for a while. Perhaps we can try and organise a meet up for after the bayram...

Hey Everybody!
I am going to spend one whole day and a night too at Istanbul 30th of Sept. Unfortunately next day I need to leave the country but for that special day I want to do something at the city, share a beer and enjoy the local places. After all maybe if we hit a night club that won’t be a big issue ïŠ if anyone is in don’t hesitate to contact me!
Hello everyone!
I haven't followed the blog lately so if there is any expat meet up soon, let me know.
I live in CIhangir so anywhere around Taksim i would be pleased to meet you.
How about next week on Thursday night? I am busy this week but would like to try and arrange something soon.
Hello all.
It is very old topic. Where and how . First we need to ask how many people's are living in turkey and who like to meet eachother. When I see who is answering most of them not living in istanbul and they are in different city. What we will do now . Everyone will come in Istanbul to meet up or not.
Pls when we post something we should write it is for Istanbul or not.

Each country forum has several sub forums for the most popular city. So If someone is planning an event, let say in Alanya, you can post it on that particular forum. You can not expect that everyone must travel to Istanbul to meet because maybe the expat population is higher,
You can suggest a event/activity with some data, place and time and ask to the members what's convenient for them.
You don't have to think big in the amount of participants, you can start with a small group and when it is a success, the event will grow.
Lonely Boy,
I'm kind of confused here, and I'm sure I'm not the only lonely in my confusion here... What exactly are you trying to say related to the ongoing discussion on this thread which mentions a meetup in Taksim or Cehangir (that to my knowledge is a renowned part of Istanbul). Perhaps you may want to elaborate again with more focus?

The ongling discuasion is regarding a meet up in Istanbul on 15
Exactly. Meet up in Istanbul Taksim area on the 15 th. For start, even a small group (5-10) would be just fine. Lets build this group step by step and maybe we can turn this into a regular activity (twice a month lets say).
Sure guys! Just a repeat advice as per forum policy, in order to avoid any inconveniences, please announce the venue privately to the attendees so that only concerned people can show up.
Enjoy the event,
Z
