Is PDO gonna shift ur things from UAE to Oman? I heard that they will shift ur things for you. Is it true?

Guys,

They will sent some shipping agency for shifting stuff (31 m2 container).
I am not sure about car shipping.  However I would like to know if I can exchange of UAE DL (auto) to oman driving licenses. I heard only manual DL from UAE get converted to Oman DL.

Please let me know if anyone moved from UAE to oman with Auto Driving license and got converted to oman DL recently.

   Today my HR told me that my LC got cleared and visa will be ready before 5th May.

I also got mail from PDO hr on 8 April that, they have started releasing LC but after that till now no any information.

Looks like all those who did the interview in November (In Dubai Kempinski Hotel) are still waiting for LC
I am also still waiting from January 2015
As per PDO email received last week they are expecting to get more LC in next week

I think some of the guys from Dubai November batch also got the LCs

Still waiting my LC, i get the offer on 22 november.
I am thinking i will not join pdo if i didn't move on may, because we need to secure our kid school otherwise there is no meaning to join pdo and start looking seats in other bad school.

still waiting and hope we will not go back to zero as before.
i am between 50% to continue wiyh current employer and 50% to go to pdo.
i feel that pdo not making more efforts to get the LC's, as i know many people get thier LC within 3 weeks with other employer while pdo is more the 5 months.

I have asked the same question to my agent few months back, on why contractors/consultant can mobilize people much faster while PDO cannot. According to my agent its because of the allowed quota given by the government to the companies on how many expats they can hire while considering the local population in that company. Im not really sure if that's the real reason though..

Also, im having the same stand with you now. I am thinking of staying with my current employer if I really cant get any clear picture with PDO till end of May.

At least clarity on this would probably help us planning things better..

so finally the good news came a week back, got my LC done. but as the medical certificate was expired i have to re-do the test and i have sent them the certificate for work visa.

i am hoping to get the visa by next week.  for clarification, my documents had reached to the company in December 2014

Congratulations Mohammad! Do you have to wait for your family members' visa before you submit resignation from current employer?

Thanks, I will resign tomorrow , and wait my family visa to book the flight on 15/6/2015 due to the school end day is 4/6/2015 then I will attest their certificates between 4/6-11/6 and PDO's arrival team want us to arrive any Monday.
