Hello. I'm Melinda and I am in the process of purchasing a riad hotel in the medina in Marrakech. I'm scared and nervous, but above all excited. I have never done anything like this before. It is something I have dreamt about since my first visit to Marrakech. This is my fourth visit. I will be heading home to Sydney soon for a bit, and then back here to get started. Im hoping that I can chat with people here in Marrakech about their experiences. Cheers.

Hi Melinda,

Just wanted to say...Good Luck with your project....just go with what's in your heart....I think lots of people on here are actually jealous.

I am moving to Morocco for good in a couple of years...not to open a riad or work...as we are retiring early...(on very little money).

I hope everything goes well for you, if you want we can stay in touch, and maybe give each other support. I am English by the way.
