Trains
Has anyone taken the train from Vientiane to Nong Khai and then changed there to Bangkok ? Any hiccups, how was customs and immigration, was it time consuming and is it worth it ?
You mean Thanaleng. I haven't but friends have. The question is why would you though? It is easier to get it from Nong Khai.
The question was asked on the Vietnam forum about bus to Vientiane then train to Bangkok.
