Hi everyone!!

My name is Radha and am an ELT consultant.  Have been one for about 10 years approximately.

What brings me to this forum?  teaching assignments in ELT ( India).

If there's anybody out there who is into ESL/ELT, here in India, do get in touch.

Thanks a lot.

Hello expat-blog friends. I am parry and I am living in new delhi . I love travelling and travellled/lived in many countries.

It will be great to have a meet up and talk and share our travel stories.

doccortex

Hello All,

I have joined this forum for sound advice. I am thinking of taking up a long term contract in Bangalore. I need, places to stay, how to get around effectively, travel, nightlife ( I don't want to be bored senseless when not working ). I understand it is a vegan city, and from what I have read, everything shuts down after 23:00 or so, does that mean I am in real trouble looking for a hamburger, etc.

The loneliness is another factor I need to consider, I have done quite a few contracts around the world, but this one is a two year stint, the time zones even talking to others will make it difficult.

How do you rate costs, etc, I need to factor all of this into the contract. I am an independent contractor, teaching the  same company that made me redundant - a bit strange.

I need to factor in so so much, to make it worthwhile.

Regards,

Doc

hi everyone,
I want to clarify about my Qatar resident visa.. I worked in Qatar for about 15 months & I came back to India in march 2015 on exit re entry.. And I didn't go back to Qatar due to some family issues.. My visa is still valid and its expiry date is 5th December 2015.  As its been over 6 months now that I haven't returned, is my qatar resident visa still valid or invalid ?  And I want to know , if I go Saudi on job resident visa , before my Qatar visa expiration date i.e., 5th December 2015 .. Will I face any problem with my Qatar resident visa in Saudi embassy while stamping  Saudi visa or will I face any problem at immigration counter of Saudi? Please give a prior reply to my query.. Thank you

Hi Friends,

I was an expat, lived in Kuwait for 10+ years and now back to India....settled in Pune..Basically I am a Mumbaikar :) After being here in Pune for almost 8 months i found Pune to be so unfriendly :( But this site looks to be happening :)

Living in Kuwait for so many years, i found that in an unknown country people are more friendly and more helpful. Living between multicultural people and surrounding actually makes life so interesting :)

Hey, people feel free to connect :) and share your thoughts!

Cheers!!
