driving test

Hi Im moving to Mozambique for at least a year in February and was hoping to take my driving test there. Does anyone know how you go about doing a driving test in Moz? I don't have time before leaving the UK with the long waiting lists so was hoping to take one in Mozambique.

Hi Roz, i dont know where you are coming from but where ever it is it will be easier than doing it here in Mozambique. Firstly you need to have a residence permit. That takes a while. then you need to do the obligatory classes. then you do the test. then you get your licence. Its sounds easy but i should think that the whole process will take longer than a year.....you can always buy it but i dont advocate that. It really is a mission here to do that....every thing else is easy, oh except the residents permit. :-)
