Documents required for renewing my Visa

I want to know that if I leave Uganda to visit a neighbouring country is there a way to do this without needing a flight ticket to leave for my visa?
I have already booked one flight that I have cancelled because I was unable to change the travel dates and I am not completely sure yet exactly on what date I will be leaving.
I hope someone knows the answer?

I see you wrote this a month ago.....I am assuming you do not have an East African Visa; but if you get one.....when you leave Uganda, it is an easy process.聽 You can get this on the border towns of Kenya/Uganda and Rwanda/Uganda.聽 And then you can re-enter Uganda as well.
