Hi there, I don't think there is a portuguese school in Malta. On the upside, children usually learn a new language quickly, if she goes to kindergarten she might pick up English fast, some of the language schools also have English courses for young (pre school) children. Good luck

I agree with iris_fabian_david's comment.  Small children, when immersed in a new environment with a new language can often gain fluency in very short times.  If only most adults could perform as well.  Fortunately, small children aren't as afraid of making mistakes and don't let ego and other reasons block their path to learning.

Many thanks, I will so it won't be a reason for not accepting her in kindergarten if she do not speak English at first??

I couldn't imagine it being a problem.  Just explain the situation, it won't be the first time it's happened :)
