Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Saint Lucia?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Saint Lucia?

In St. Lucia you can do every think. Specially in the beach side you can do any thing: Dining outside under a full moon, Snorkeling from the beach, Viewing the Pitons from the sea, Climbing Pigeon Island and taking in the view of the island, Walking in the rain forest etc.

I'd suggest having a look at the local newspapers, like

before drawing idyllic conclusions about the situation here.
It all depends where you live/stay and what kind of environment you can afford.....
