Hi,i am Dwight from America, visited Kenya 2 years ago and loved Mombasa.
So this September or sooner since i turn 66 in November, i am wanting too retire in Bamburi or Nayali
So if anyone in Mombasa want too chat please contact me.

I’m not sure if I’m in the right place! My parents took us out to Tanganyika in the late 1950s so I went to high/secondary school and then secretarial college in Nairobi and was a receptionist at the New Stanley Hotel until leaving for Europe soon after independence in the 1960s. My parents and sister’s moved on down to then Rhodesia.  I immigrated to the US from Belgium in 1968, and have been mostly in the Southwest since then.

I am not completely new to Kenya as I lived in Nairobi for over 12 years until recently when I moved to Somaliland to manage a contract (through my company Frontsom Consult) with Mott MacDonald to provided Third Party Monitoring services for a Somalia accountability programme funded by DFID.

I would love to come back to Nairobi and currently looking for opportunities through my company or take up positions with the UN or international NGOs as an individual.

I have 20+ years’ experience as a technical professional working in both industrial and developing settings of which the last 13+ years are working in humanitarian and development aid programme and project management, strategic planning, coordination and technical advisory in complex emergencies.; as well as 13+ years of Quality Assurance (Monitoring and Evaluation experience), including strong on-going monitoring of programme progress, Third Party Monitoring, review and evaluation of results and provision of technical supportive supervision and training and capacity building.
