I have found Salvadoran woman are reserved to discuss their feelings. Also, more common to have multiple partners (if in your 20s). Like anywhere, each individual is different. Some women are open to physical contact and religion can play a bigger role here than the US, e.g., need to get permission from mother to date daughter - even in late 30s.

If you have a child, it's not common to have a father on the weekends and mother other days. Mostly, the mother has the child (of what I have found) and the child comes over whenever would like. But, again, everyone is different.

Mostly, the people are open and warm - easy to get to know. Sometimes can feel a little too friendly for an American. But there are challenges that come with an intercultural relationship as the assumptions can be different. It is usually up to the man to make the decision.
