Hi All,  We are Russ and Sue from Papillion, Ne  USA, we just moved here last week. We live in Cabrera, rented a beautiful  house up on a hill looking out at that  the ocean, plus we have a pool. We have been planning this for 2 years. One thing is we don't speak Spanish but plan on learning. We have been here 2 times in the past 1 from the  convention we went to from Live and Invest, and the other to finish our residency. We met Denise a realtor from Cabrera and went on her tour. The house is one she manages. She helps us a lot since we have no car, plan on getting one, want to explore more of the north coast. WE do need to find some good doctors as we both have a few health problems, any help there would be greatly appreciated, we know we have to drive a ways. We very much like being retired we are only 62 and 61. Living in Cabrera you gotta get used to the power going out every day usually about 5 hours but most places have battery back up so you don't even notice it. Other than you just don't use washer, dryers, microwave, hair dryer, things that use a lot of power. Usually goes out during the day. We are also trying to get the USA channels like abc, nbc, fox. I guess we are spoiled we have certain TV series we watched all the time. We have a Roku which we loaded from the states, say you have to have a cable company, I got my son's user name and password for his and it still don't work. So why do we even have a Roku!! Anybody have any ideas? We had Dish network in the states.

I don't know anything about cable there. Do you have internet?  If so I know a solution for you and will connect you to someone.

Welcome and I do agree to contact Tom here.  Your real estate agent/landlord should be able to help with many of your questions.

Can you please tell me where I go on here to get a hold of Tom in Cabrera, I don't where at the top to go. Thank you

If you have internet your Roku will work fine, but you will need a private VPN. It is basically a service that gives you an IP address in the United States. A lot of US stations have licensing agreements where they can only be broadcast in the United States or its territories. I use Express VPN and pay 100 dollars per year.

Sent you a PM with Tom's contact info.
