Helo..anyone knows the situation inside kirkuk?
Any info will help me decide to move on or not

my city is very nice place currently there is tension in the city after cikout the kurdish troops out of the city if you are planning to work there be very careful and try to not go out just some time afternoon

Thanks..travelling by car is safe? Is there any particular place or district be avoided?

Hey,
I just completed in March, a 9 month mission in Iraq, which included loads of field work in Kirkuk. From my experience,the people are so lovely and friendly but you need to excercise great caution and safety in Kirkuk. While U cadrive during the day, at night it's not recommended. There aren't many places ,if any at all to go out for聽 dinner, entertainment as compared to say Erbil. There were many checkpoints as well. The nearby Hawija district is very unsafe
