if your visa not cleared in a week means this will not be cleared and after some days it will be rejected, as per my experience as I am applying since long time on bahalf of my company.

In current situation, maybe.   But then again, most approvals I have seen in the past few weeks have happened in the time period of 2-4 weeks so that is not necessarily true.

And in normal circumstances, that does not apply and is not at all true.  I have seen many visas being delayed for weeks and then approved.  I have also seen visas being rejected and then approved and vice versa as well.  You cannot generalise.

And I am speaking from experience as the company I worked for in Bahrain had a huge amount of employees and I was designated as the responsible person in LMRA as well as authorised signatory or company nominee with MOL, MOIC, Customs, Tamkeen, SIO etc so I have had the opportunity to see most government processes in a lot of detail.   We even interacted a number of times with immigration on some visas so I have also had the opportunity to see why sometimes visas get delayed - and at times the reasons are so simple that it will surprise you.

XTang Thanks for the details, Could you also guide me that can I check the status of visit visa of my baby by personally visiting in NPRA as my company applied the visa ? Also if the visa is still on hold can we reapply for 2nd time or we have to wait until 1st application got rejected ?

Hasheva

Do you really think that going to pakistani embassy with others will solve this issue . ?

waqasaliahmad

I applied for my family visit visa on Thursday, status was changed to approved and asked to pay for further 35BD. Now it is waiting for NPRA. This is where we have the problem?

YAM_99

Hi waqas, that's good news, Could you tell us you applied for the first time or 2nd time ? Did you applied through some private agent or your company applied the visa ?

waqasaliahmad

I applied for first time and my company applied. But i don't know whether is good news or it is where most the visas are getting rejected.

XTang

I don't think it is approved yet.  You pay when you apply.  After payment, the application is sent to NPRA.  When they approve, the status changes and the visa is issued.

And yes, that is where the problem is.

waqasaliahmad

Dear XTang,

We paid when we applied, status remained pending for one day, and then status is the visa is approved and you need to pay visa fee in 30 days. Which we have done this morning.

Currently, below is the status

"NPRA is now going through a procedure for granting the visa"

I hope, the issue is resolved overall for all of us.

XTang

Ah, you applied through a company online?

Unsponsored evisa is different.  You pay when you apply.   For company, yes, you pay when the visa is approved - the initial payment is only the application fee of 4 BD and then 35BD for family eNOC when approved.  If that is the case, don't worry as visa has been approved.

waqasaliahmad

Dear xTang,

Yes my HR applied online and they paid 4 BD first. Yesterday, status changed to approved and Today they have paid 35 BD.

Yes you are write, it is family eNOC and having below current status

"NPRA is now going through a procedure for granting the visa".

I am hopeful after your message. One more question, if you might be aware. For family eNOC, what is the validity of visa? Or it is different for different cases and need to check with HR.

Thanks.

XTang

Well it depends on what was issued.  But generally, it is an evisa but a sponsored one - so all conditions are usually the same i.e. entry within 1 to 3 months and stay for 1 month.

Hi, Do you think applying online by company will have more chances of granting a visa as compare to other procedure ?

I am thinking to apply for the 2nd time for visit visa, So wondering if applying online will give me good result.

Thanks,

XTang

Sponsored visit visas have a much higher chance of being approved vs. unsponsored evisas.  This has always been the case.

Today, with the ban on nationality, no one can say.  But still the chance would be higher but not guaranteed.

Noted, If my company will apply the visit visa online it will be sponsored visa ? Right ?

XTang

Yes if they apply through their evisa login.

But keep in mind that work permits and dependent visas are still being rejected - and they are definitely sponsored visas as well :)

waqasaliahmad

XTang

1) This thread is not for those questions
2) Don't post twice
3) No.  If the salary is updated then your company can apply normally via the EMS system
