@XTang, any idea about visa transfer / mobility? Is it also being affected by this situation? I got my son's dependent visa in October 2018 (in 3rd attempt), and now he is in Bahrain Alhamdulillah, and my wife is already a resident. I am planning to switch jobs now so just wondering if there is issue with transfer as well? for myself and family?

UK007

I transferred my family visit visa to dependent visa and today it approved. I've seen many peoples now who are getting visas. However, it was very very difficult time for me during past 4 months but now Alhamdu Lillah got the visa.

Pakland

Dear how you got your dependent visa approved. Is this through normal way or some other way like reference or you work in any big organization. Because even in visit visa the same immigration authority approve who is rejecting on LMRA portal. I am also planning to apply visit for dependent but confuse it will work or not because after requesting favour from my company if remain rejecting then better not to request.

Aftab Alam81

Brother have you done your fingerprints in police station?

Pakland

No did not receive any call from them

Aftab Alam81

I have applied for my 2 kids 2 times but I didn't get the approval than I went to Police Station without any call and register my fingerprints on 5th Nov and again I have applied on 7th Nov and with Grace of Allah I got 1 visa approval and the other is still in progress with immigration i hope I will get the other also In Sha Allah
I suggest you to go to near Police Station with your original CPR and Passport and try to register your fingerprints than apply again I wish Allah will help us All

wassemmalik87

I went to riffa police station but the said yiu are not registered with us for finger peint. How can i find which police station i have to go fo finget print.

Aftab Alam81

I think you have to find according to your CPR address

wassemmalik87

My cpr address is manama block 302. And i called manana police station near gold city they wven said we do not have your record...

Zohaiby2k

Guys,
If you are having managerial position then you will not be asked for finger prints. Whats your designation ? They have list and if your name is not in thier list they wont take your finger prints. I got my dependent visa on 14 November. Its getting smoother.

wassemmalik87

I am working as general Accountant with same visa designation. So it means i do nit need to go for finger print. Where i can get the list who should have to do finger print and who are not eligible

YAM_99

As per my information and research, NPRA is only giving visas to big famous companies, I guess they have list of big companies to approve their visas only, rest of all other medium or small companies who don't have big names where major peoples work have no visa approval.

Pakland

yea you r right I also met some guys who got visas, work in some renoun companies. but I also need one dependend visa even for that I need to search and switch to those renoun companies which have such a credibility if that is only solution.

UK007

I did not take any special actions for my visa. Although I requested my company for a letter but my company said we cannot issue any letter. In short, my company applied for my visa and finally I received it after very long time.

My company is also one of very large organisations of Bahrain.

Pakland

So one thing is clear that big organizations getting visas however small and medium size are not

That is not correct.  I think they were starting from lower professions in the beginning.

I got a call today to go for fingerprints and my profession is investor (past work profession was managerial). They also asked for my son to come as well but when I mentioned that he is only 8, they said no need.   And it also seems that it is only for men as the females in my family were not asked to come.

And keep in mind that I already have fingerprints registered with CID for clearance certificate, fingerprints registered for advanced e-key and have been in Bahrain since 2014.  So this is apparently a completely stand-alone and different process for Pakistanis only.

Malik_j

Hello;

How long does it take for issuance of a visa once the security clearance has been successfully approved??

XTang

What do you mean?   you mean the finger print thing?

There is no guarantee that once yours are done, it will happen.   Though chances are much higher.  But keep in mind that this being done for people ALREADY here.  People who are outside and waiting to come in - don't really benefit from this.  Until or unless the whole process is completed and the security threat is reduced - and they then relax the ban.

AfifaJeelani

Hi, Were you able to secure visa for your parents ?

Pakland

Any news if NPRA issuing vist or dependent visas or if there is any solution as some people getting and others just :(

waqassarif

Just got a rejection for my wife's visa. Applied couple of weeks back.
My residency mentions my occupation as Manager.

i have a question, as per the initial processing the only documents which the agent asked was the attested nikkah nama and my wife's passport copies (passport mentions my name as the husband).
I am not sure whether other documents such as lease agreement was supposed to be submitted. I have the lease agreement but the agent said that it is not required (although i had them with me)
. @xtang, can you confirm was the approach by my agent correct ?

XTang

Yes, the lease agreement is not required.  Your CPR is already issued and the address on the CPR is used for everything.

Pakland

XTang

I can tell you that it is not open as of today.  Every random person who posts here with "someone told me that it is open"; is usually always wrong :)

Knowme82

I am utterly disappointed and disgusted with this "tafreeh"  mentality of our community. Why do we have to be sarcastic and seek pleasure in hurting people's emotions. 99% of people who have posted here of "got my visa" are just simply bluffing and causing distress to others. Stop this nonsense and be responsible and caring towards others.

XTang

No actually that is not the case.

If you read through my previous posts in this thread, you will note that I have said this clearly.  There ARE some approvals here and there.  These are mostly for visas for big multinationals and local companies.  Similarly, there are also approvals for some people who have done their fingerprinting but not for every one.  However, the majority of the visas are being rejected still.

What I do agree with:  That people who hear one rumour from someone, believe that it is true and come here, post that and give others false hope - need to be more responsible.  And read what other informed people have written in the thread.

If you read back to the very first post, when I started this thread, there were people who were coming here and saying that this news is false, we know from the Embassy and this person or that person.   The difference was that I had posted this after receiving credible and verified information directly from the source.   So what happened?   after a lot of confusion, we came back full circle to what was posted to begin with and what is now known as a fact to everyone i.e. the ban on Pakistani's.

Then we have had multiple dramas of.....Oh it is opening in 15 days etc etc.  I have posted many times that there is no likelihood of something happening before the end of the year or most likely, nothing, before Q1.  And that is IF it opens to begin with.  We can very well go the route of Kuwait on this where Pakistani's were completely banned for years.  So this situation is still very fluid and I would also urge people to be responsible and not post back unverified information.

amjadahmad

Hello XTang,
I am so sorry to read about the trouble with visas for Pakistani brothers.
You mentioned in an earlier post that this unofficial "ban" includes other nationalities. Could you tell us about these please? Do you know if the ban includes Egyptian nationals ?
I hope things get resolved soon for every  one. Thanks a lot.

XTang

This ban included Bangladeshi nationals as well.  I am not sure if it has been fixed for them or not as I haven't checked.

The other issues that exist but not related to this, are new visas for Lebanese. Egyptians are ok but go through extra security checks and this takes much longer. But this has been the case for a while now.

Mr ali240

Dec.20,2018
KARACHI: In a twist of events, 15 persons who were arrested after travelling to Bahrain on Pakistani documents have now turned out to be Iran nationals.

A fact-finding committee headed by Director General National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) Sindh Mir Ajam Khan Durrani had been set-up after a letter from Bahraini authorities. The panel has concluded the arrested persons are actually citizens of Iran who had acquired fake Pakistani documents after paying heavy bribes to officials at Nadra, relevant passport offices and other government agencies.

Bahrain has deported the suspected ‘Pakistanis’ who were then arrested on arrival by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), however there was a doubt regarding their nationality given their unusually different dialects and looks.

When questioned, the group of men claimed they belonged to different districts of Balochistan including areas like Punjgoor, Turbat, Gwadar, Baleed. The Iranians were also issued fake CNICs in Karachi from different branches, including those located in Lyari, Awami Markaz, DHA Mega Centre and Memon Goth from between 2009 to 2018.

The fact-finding committee further disclosed staff at Nadra, FIA and various district government departments was involved in issuing CNICs and other documents to the Iranian citizens.

Each of the 15 persons paid approximately Rs400,000 in bribe for a CNIC and passport while four of them were also issued fake birth certificates, three were provided with forged medical certificates. The persons also managed to buy fake blood relations.

The investigating team also revealed seven of the arrested persons looked strikingly different than their attesting ‘families’.

Meanwhile, sources had informed the 15 Iranians were also unable to speak any local language including Urdu, Balochi and Pashtu to which the persons said they weren’t asked any such questions when they were being issued the documents

The report recommends all those who facilitated this scheme at any stage and in any way should be grilled.

wassemmalik87

It means the issue has just revealed the scenario which shows that whatever we are expecting for visa in 2019 is going to delay more.....

Jawad36339325
