If someone "Pakistani National" has UAE resident permit so He can come on visit visa to Bahrain if YES so he can have visa on arrival or he need to apply for a visa prior travelling to Bahrain?

So far visa on arrival for Pakistani nationals who are GCC residents; is working.聽 聽Just make sure that the profession is eligible for visa on arrival.聽 聽For example, if you are on dependent visa in the UAE then as per law, you need to travel with your sponsor.聽 They didn't use to make a big deal about this before but now they are - at least for Pakistanis.

If they apply for a visa as a GCC resident; those are still facing high level of rejections.

And here is another reason why there are so many restrictions on Pakistan.

Apparently, a Pakistani Grade 20 officer stole the wallet of a Kuwaiti diplomat during the Kuwait-Pakistan summit which took place late last year.聽 Ironically, one of the major topics on the agenda was easing visa restrictions on Pakistan - there is a similar ban to Bahrain in place in Kuwait since 2011.聽 Suffice to say that this ban is not going to be lifted anytime soon, especially after this event.



And we wonder why the bans don't disappear.聽 Let's just hope that we don't bring these kind of people to discuss the ban in Bahrain or the wallet stealing will cause even more problems then what is there at the moment

Simple answer, yes.聽 聽Causeway on arrival visa for GCC residents has no problems nowadays - driver / labour professions are also crossing without issues.聽 The only nationality that still faces issue on the causeway is Bangladesh.

One get work visa but before he was in bahrain and one聽 got visit visa.

ok fine but r they or their sponsor (family members) working in big companies or through any source or they work in small or medium size companies. Mean normal way or special way.

I submit my brother visa last Monday its on hold with npra now. let see what will happen i dont have any kinda sources neither a big company so we will wait and watch.

applied three times for visa of my wife & kids, every time rejected by NPRA
but have seen one work visa approved in januray-19 and visit visa approved in December-18

As i told you guys i submitted my brother visa yesterday it has been rejected with this message
Failed in immigration check you can apply for a different expat

I applied for my brother's visit on evisa.gov.bh today I got a reply聽 that sorry your visa cannot be processed please contact NPRA and added an email address to send email to.聽 It did not say rejected. Do you think something maybe missing from the uploaded documents?

You do know the title of the thread right?

1) Evisa for a lot of people is rejected.......with or without documents.聽 Especially for single women, older people and people from the sub-continent
2) Pakistani ban is ON TOP of point 1 so even more chances of rejection

They will not tell you the reasons on that email.聽 Use it only to request refund and apply for a sponsored visa.

I suggest, someone must meet with Zulfi Bukhari as he is the most imminent source to the PM pertaining to Overseas Pakistanis.. I am utterly disappointed how this matter has prolonged without any official efforts to resolve.

I think it will take a while as they are still in the middle of the finger printing and security clearance exercise.

I got a police clearance certificate recently and interestingly, while the certificate was dated in Dec, the time line for the clearance was from 2014 (when I came into Bahrain) to July 2018 (when the Pakistan visa issue started).聽 聽Usually the clearance time period is up to the date of the certificate.聽 But it seems that they have locked it to the date when the issue started until the whole finger printing exercise is completed.聽 Just my theory.

Bro you POV is concerning Bahrain鈥檚 internal process while our Govt must exert some pressure to fast forward the process.. it must be noted the ban is a blanket ban curtailing also investors and businesses which may benefit higher then other working expats. Again the question remains how to move our authorities to take action

No I know what you meant.聽 I was more referring to the fact that they haven't managed to catch everyone that needed to be caught so our government is not in a strong position i.e. when they push, it would be a simple response from authorities "your internal corruption created a security issue for us which we are trying to resolve.聽 Unless you can help us resolve it asap, there is nothing we can do".

So yes, the government needs to follow up with Bahrain authorities but at the same time, it cannot just be a blind push as it will go nowhere.聽 They need to help them in somehow resolving this mess that has been created or show the commitment for the same.聽 聽Otherwise it comes across as "Yeah well, our corrupt staff gave passports to foreign nationals and they used those to enter your country.聽 We don't know who and where they are but open the visas for our nationals"聽 .聽 And when it comes across like that, even someone as affected as me in this situation would obviously respond with NO!.

Just a quick check , I am residing in Riyadh as civil engineer from Pakistan. I want to cross to Bahrain next week through the causeway. What is the latest situation please.

Visa on arrival for Saudi residents through causeway is working fine now.聽 Even for drivers.聽 No issues.

@XTANG bro, I totally second your point and not in a favor to push without any efforts to eradicate the corruption. What i am saying that our Govt must intervene and cooperate with Bahrain govt so the confidence of people and Bahrain govt is restored in our authorities. But I don鈥檛 think that is going to happen ang soon!

So glad to finally see my parents after almost an year...it's been a huge rounds of emotions! Alhumdulillah arrived in Bahrain during the month of December and left on time within a month to return back to Germany

How likely will it be a problem if we apply for a visit visa once again since we had my security clearance (ofcourse that's when I got my visit visa too) done already and have entered as well as exited Bahrain on time recently !?

I can't express the feeling as my tears fell rapidly once the flight announced that they've started their decent towards Bahrain Airport! Alhumdulillah ala kulli haal ! I'm so much thankful to the Lord almighty as well as @Xtang who had provided a lot of information in this blog!

Visa are being issued to Pakistanis by the Government of Bahrain on Case to case basis. It has been confirmed that there is no restrictions officially placed on Visa for Pakistani馃槓馃槓

@Malik_j how did you manage to get the Visa? Did you do security clearance prior applying for Visa? Or is it the case that you have EU Visa so it was easier for you?

Kind of everything ! According to sources, I had a clear record cuz I spent my childhood here, my dad鈥檚 company has poured in efforts too and also the EU Residence permit played a role. I鈥檝e also represented Bahrain at American Universities of Cairo and Beirut , MIT , UAE too. So all this data was submitted and the result was a call from my family which informed me that I鈥檝e got my visa issued!

To put it another way, his was approved on a "Case by case" basis as listed above.聽 He had an absolutely genuine reason for wanting to be here and was not a risk.

Your next visa should not be as much of an issue.
