Business Visa visitors travelling to Bahrain via KFC

They sent a partner-associate back on Monday from KF Causeway that govt banned visitors traveling to Bahrain by road. Can someone please elaborate on this new rule.

Read the threads on the Bahrain forum.聽 This is not a new rule but is just being enforced since a month back.

If your Saudi visa states "AIR" then you are no longer allowed to travel via the causeway but must exit or enter via the airport.

My partner has a two-year multiple entry visa and was traveling via causeway until they stopped stating it is no longer possible.

I travel every week via the causeway on a two-year multiple entry visa and have had no problems.聽 But my visa says "OPEN" or 賲賮鬲賵丨.

Before, even if your visa said "AIR" or 噩賵, they were allowing it but now they have stopped that.

I can confirm the information from XTang. Spoke to my HR about this matter several times during the last two years. Clearly this rule was in place for a long time. You have to enter the country by means specified in your visa.
