@Rochelle22 The person you mentioned who got AIP recently, applied for an university?
Hi congrats Saikiran. I paid the fee on Friday let’s see how long they take to issue the visa.
Hi guys
As i applied for Pg diploma in IT
CAN I change course to Masters in IT
AFTER GETTING VISA/Aip
Hi Rochelle22 when did you apply for the visa! What is this urgency letter!
Hey,
I applied on may 15th but i have only three weeks more for my intake. I uploaded a letter to my account saying that my intake is only 3 weeks away..
Even my intake is next month and I applied on 8th may
Hello Saikiran, Congratulations! So finally you got lucky enough to get through all the processes & grab the Visa. I am still waiting for mine. When is your intake starting?
@Vijay - Why there is so delay in your process?
My panel doctor submitted the report incomplete and Visa Officer waiting for Panel doctor and my panel doctor doesnt have any options to upload the document again and I am in loop. I spoke with case officer and she said she will check with his medical team for the next step. I guess I will miss my intake.
Sorry to hear that. when is your course starts?
Hope you get a update soon.,
I made a query again and they replied with this “Unfortunately there have not been any updates on your application and it is still in the queue awaiting allocation to an immigration officer. You can upload a cover letter to request urgency and outline your course start date; however this will be up to the immigration branch to consider.â€
@Rochelle22
follow this link and go to the bottom of the page. Then click "Submit and online query" and ask your question.
Same with me , 15 july , weltec
I hope we all get the visa
Next intake of my course and college is in feb 2020🥺
Hi!
I am from Russia. My husband applied for student visa on 26 March. After that 4 June we got request of additional documents, we sent these documents 5 June. Who knows, how long does it take to get answer from the officer?
Hi guys...
I m new to this forum but I am regularly checking ur updates.
I got an update from my frnd in NZ..that INZ Mumbai Office has now scaled up in resource, which is likely to result in increased student visa decision rates in future. Mumbai will continue to process off shore applications from Indian Sub-continents and Vietnam.
Beijing is processing Chinese, Mongolian, Japanese and Korean off shore applications and for all other countries, applications are being processed at Palmerston North, NZ at this time.
I am processing for July intake for PG course in Whitireia.
Hope this speed up the process for this intake.
It is being informed by Immigration representatives in the recent Immigration Law conference held in NZ.
Thank you @surya for the update
I applied on May 14 and awaiting for response.
@vestik , you got the AIP?
I applied on 2 May and I am still waiting.
My course is starting on 1 July. Cover letter uploaded and mailing to inz for inquiry but still no updates
Hello Everyone!
First of all, thanks to you all for sharing your updates. It is always great to know what the general atmosphere is especially when we cannot track out applications.
I am new here, however, I have been following this thread for a while and thought of sharing my experience as well in the hope it might help someone.
After getting accepted at AUT for my postgraduate diploma for July's intake, I paid my full fees and finalized all my required documents for my visa. I applied online for my visa application (which should be faster than the paper form) on the 21st of March.
As the days passed and INZ kept on increasing the expected days to delivery on their website from 80 to the now 90 days for 95% of applicants to receive their visa decisions, I emailed INZ for an update on my 69th day of waiting to later receive a reply a week later stating that my application is currently in process with a CO but a decision is not yet made and that I could upload an "Urgent Letter" to my CO on my Realme account in hopes they will read it and maybe facilitate the process.
I also read here that many of you did that, so I did the same and uploaded mine explaining my timeline and urgency on the 6th of June. Sadly as of today, nothing happened yet.
In exactly 7 days I will have completed my 90 days of waiting to which INZ states that after this time we can contact them. If that happens, i will contact INZ and ask where exactly my application is so i can contact that office and talk with the CO directly.
As for the previous comment on the location of each application based on the lodgment country, I do not think it is accurate as a friend of mine in Dubai should have his visa processed in Palmerston North NZ however it is in Mumbai and his CO already contacted him after 1 week of lodging his application asking for extra documents. He also applied online but haven't paid his tuition yet, his intake is the same as mine at the same university where classes start July 15th.
Again, thanks to everyone sharing their updates! Keep it up I will surely post my progress as well. Best of luck to everyone.
Iam really happy that first I started a query about visa delay then many started replying my query and also shared there experience that they are facing same like me....Now it's helping alot of people and clarifying there doubts about delay.....I wanted share my experience again....I applied my student visa on 23rd dec 2018 for graduate diploma in IT for weltec college for March intake . And after many days my file allocated to case officer on 8th april 2019 and then I got no response from case officer,i missed my intake so I uploaded an urgent letter on 23nd april and got interview call on 24th april, and again after interview my file was sent to INZ manager for review and finally i got AIP on 24th may and i got July offer letter and after paying fee and all got my visa on 8th june .. so please have patience if your file has no issues then you will get visa definitely.
@Ethan , that’s quick , did they call you? If yes , what did they ask? . You applied on 2 may . Hope we also get our aip
My agent contact inz manager (as they said) mentioning that my application is quite urgent (my course opens only in July every year). I got interview at 2pm and got aip at 5pm (mumbai time). They asked what we wrote in study plan and about your course (very detail ! Such as what subjects are you going to take). Why do you choose nz? And what are you going to do after the course?
Hope it helps you guys. Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions
Hi Ethan,
What is the best answer for the question, what are you going to do after the course?
Bit confused..
