80 days is not very unusual, but I think the year end and Chinese New Year has a stronger impact than Corona.

Is there a way to find out the queries raised by MOM till date?
Is it safe to travel to Singapore after corona virus spread to 60+ people?

Check with your employer if MoM has raised any questions or not. Other than employer nobody knows.

Whether you want to travel or not, it鈥檚 your decision. If you feel it鈥檚 not good time to travel then postpone your travel.

Guys, Want to share with you my experience.

Applied for renew: 19th Nov 2019
Status 1: Pending (from 19th Nov to 16th Dec)
Status 2:聽 We need inputs from other...... ( from 16th Dec to 12 Feb 2020)
Status 3: Approved on 13th Feb 2020 between 4-6 pm

My company applied for 3 years renewal but MOM approved for 1 year. Do anyone have any idea what could be the possible reason?

Your employer can鈥檛 say how many years an employee should get renewal of his or her work pass. MoM does that after reviewing each case on its merit then renew accordingly.

i read here that after November 2019 EP is getting delayed , mine was submitted on 19/02/2020, status is pending , this is my first time EP, do they call to previous employers聽 during EP process, can please let me know , what are the chances, 6.5 years exp and 6.5k salary , thanks

Nothing like that, many expats have got their EP approval in last couple of weeks.

Each individual application evaluates as per the normal procedures at MoM. Nobody can tell your chance percentage with two line information. Good luck

Anil as I have blue card from Germany valid till 2023, they raised about validity of my blue card, also asked to submit my Germany job contract and payslip of last month and blue card copy.

All the above from my side and some queries related to my employer.

Just want to ask for my SPASS (Im worrying you are all EP holders)

Country: Philippines
Almost 3 years working in Singapore

This is my 3rd job already:
Applied: Feb 5
Rejected: Feb 17
Reason: Wrong previous company name in the spass application
Designation: Interior Designer
Salary: $2900

Reapplied: Feb 20
Pending til now

Previously my spass had just 1week+ of approval but now is 2 weeks and counting.

Another question: Does MOM really approves during Sat and Sun?!

If this is below your Singapore market value, it might not be approved.

$2700 below is not

Eligibility to apply and getting approval are two different things. One thing may go against you that your work profile shows as a job hopper (3yrs and already changed 2 jobs).

Nevertheless, if your role is demanding and employer has presented your case with rationale (that why they want to hire you and how your skills are matching for this job) at MoM, then chances are there that your pass may get approved. Good luck

My first job was 1.5 yrs and the 2nd is 10mos only (company cant pay for full time anymore so it鈥檚 not me)

Does mom approve on sat and sun? I鈥檝e read here a lot of approvals were during weekends?!

MoM does not work Sat or Sun. So no approval on Saturday or Sunday but their website eponline may get update on Saturday as database update can be done by their service delivery team who can do during weekend.

What happened with your previous employer, MoM doesn鈥檛 know this, unless it was highlighted by you. MoM will see your profile which shows this will be your 3rd employer in 2.5yrs.

Yes, job-hoppers are unwanted. Regardless of whether this time is approved, better do not try to change again for a few years!

MoM stringent its selection process, it won鈥檛 be smooth ride for any application, unless the demand of job scope is very high and local resource doesn鈥檛 have those skills then workpass approval will be much faster. Good luck

Does anyone experience going to JB to extend visit pass in singapore and going back?

Don鈥檛 do that chances are higher you will be denied to enter Singapore, which would later hamper your work pass chances.

The proper way of extending your stay is by contacting ICA. And if this doesn鈥榯 work, leave Singapore until your work pass is approved.
Don鈥榯 think you can outsmart the Singapore authorities - they know all these tricks very well and even trying will give a negative mark in your profile, which they keep forever!

I got 6500 salary for 7 yrs exp with SAT as eligible
Can anyone tell me my chances of getting approval and how soon shall I get it
