Manisha first language is Turkish and Arabic is second and most of the expat living and working here knows these languages and most of them knows third French  Russian or other language to cover up local communication/ interaction with the companies but only English have no value
Hello Manicha,
As for me, i don't speak Turkish yet, but planning on learning the soonest possible since I will become a turkish citizen (my grandmother is turkish).
As for my job, english will be the base. Arabic and french will be used with clients.
Hi,
I am an Ex-Air Force currently working in the aviation industry as a Business Development manager. I live in Ankara but my work is located in Istanbul. I spend half of the week in Istanbul due to work. I'd like to meet with new people.
Hello everyone!
I am moving to Fethiye in 15-16 weeks from California. I am a single 30 year old male and although I don't speak Turkish, I do speak Farsi (fluenty), and some Azeri. I don't intend on working, but I am interested in starting a charity and using my marketing and PR skills (worked for several film companies in Los Angeles) to help out. I know it will be a bit difficult finding expats my own age but I have no problem with hanging out with older people. I am interested in meeting people who currently live in Fethiye or in the Calis Beach area.

Hi.
I am new to this site. We are considering moving to Turkey, probably somewhere on the aegean coast in a couple of years in retirement. Is this a good area and country for an English couple to retire to.

I would love to secure a job before I move to help make finances easier.
I am TEFL Level 5 certified.
I would want to teach English to any ages.
I have applied to some online places but no success yet.
Was wondering who are the most reliable recruiters I should contact to help me secure a job.
Thank you appreciate your help

Hello this new bee family am looking for a job around Esenyurt that where i leave am English full time. I would like assistant please.
Well it depends on you turkey for UK is easy to enter. As for house is relatively cheap. Just that if you are not Turkish or can hear it get ready for high rents insurance and comission. But i advise you to look for a friend that speak Turkish or from turkey for the house rental. Ä° leave in Istanbul is a wonderful place. As for job you can well seek different job.

Merhaba! I'm Clark and I hail from Dallas, TX. I recently moved here to Ankara to live with my Turkish wife of almost a year now who is still employed as a geographical engineer with the Turkish government (I'm 61 and I retired 6 yrs ago).
I'm immersing myself in the Turkish language (Babbel) in hopes that I become conversationally fluent in short order (my wife speaks fluent English). Hey! I'm already up to over 200 words in my vocabulary but it's not as easy to pick up as Spanish was for me. Haha :-)
I enjoy music of all kinds, dining out, politics, hiking, walking my dog (Chow named Roxy) and socializing in general. I've "never met a stranger" and would love meeting some local, like-minded fellow English-speaking or Spanish-speaking expats or Turkish folks.
We live in the Cayyolu district in Ankara and I'm fairly familiar with the Metro system and bus routes. I absolutely LOVE Turkey - the food, the people, the music, the weather and especially the awesome culture here and would like to meet some new friends.
Thanks for reading and look forward to exploring this forum frequently!

Hi, we recently visited Alanya and fell in love with the place. We were looking for somewhere to buy, initially a holiday property, something with rental potential. Hopefully followed by buying somewhere larger in the area and semi retiring full time in Alanya.
