Hi there,
You need to come to Dubai and look for an employer here and get the tests done here. Do not do it in the Philippines as all agencies have standard procedure of screening applicants including HBV tests.
Goodluck!
Good morning,
I just thought of sharing this:
I had been working here in Dubai for 6 years now in a Animal Health Trading company. I went to the clinic few days ago to renew my visa as Sales (thats written on my visa while my actual job is a clerk). Surpsingly, they are going to include HBS Ag for me as they are saying I am working in a "Health" sector. I immediately cancel my tests and told them I will just come back after few days. I do not understand why there is a sudden change in this. I have renewed my visa in 2010 without a problem and now they are saying this because I am working in "Health" sector. Yes I am working in an Animal Health company but its not a clinic - its just a trading company. I am stuck of what to do now. Please can you anyone share their thoughts.
Have a nice day to all!

You mean your employer did not issue your employment visa? Even your position is not under the 6category? Why? Under the new law as long as your job is not under the 6 category you can work in Dubai.
Try to ask your employer again.

ADNOC refused to apply for visa in this conditions. They required all the blood tests.
Better you did not tell to the ADNOC that you have hep.b , because according to the new law as long as your job position is not under the 6 category you can get the approval. The PRO knows that because they know about it, of course if you tell them, they refuse because they may think that it's deportable case. But if they knew the new rule maybe they will make your visa.
Anyway, I'm just telling this base of what i read from that new rules in medical about hep.b

Hi,
I think the kinder teacher is under the 6 category, so it means if you have hep b,it maybe possible you cannot work in school because they are very strict specially in school.
But,just try and pray.
Goodluck.

If your position is not under the 6 category i think there is no problem with that under the new law regarding this sickness. It depend to your employer if they will accept that you have hep.b
Best of luck to you.

This is the magic word:
"FIT TO WORK / CLASS B - NON-INFECTIOUS HEPATITIS B"
Yes, I was declared fit to work yesterday by Christian Medical Clinic in New Manila, QC. They also issued an "INFECTIOUS CLEARANCE" with a dianosis that I am a Hepatitis B, Chronic, inactive, non-replicating, non-infectious and a recommendation that I am fit to work. There is nothing impossible in prayers guys, but one must also learn to persevere. As in my case, I looked for another medical clinic that is DOH/POEA accredited. This is my suggestion, if ever you got a job offer for Qatar or UAE, you must talk to your agency right away and if possible do not go to the clinic that they recommended. If you are in Central Luzon Region, contact Christian Medical Clinic. Just look for the medical director Dra. Lyn de Leon(10am to 12noon and 3pm to 5pm)coz she is very kind and accomodating. Their contact no. is +6324167258.
One more thing GAMCA's decking practices for employment in GCC countries is no longer allowable. Let us be vigilant about this!!!.Based on the DOH's Memorandum Circular 2011-0030 regarding the implementation of Section 16 of RA 10022 otherwise known as the Migant Workers' Act, IT IS THE RIGHT OF ANY OFW TO CHOOSE ANY MEDICAL CLINIC FOR THEIR PRE-EMPLOYMENT MED EXAM FOR AS LONG AS IT IS DOH ACCREDITED.

Though FARLAND Recruitment Agency also required me to sign a medical waiver, it's still fine with me since I knew that there is no Hep B screening for Planning Engineers in UAE.

regards
 jai
Hi there,
Please continue to post on this forum, so we can all be informed of the current issues about this.
Thanks.
I read this online and I really need clarified before I proceed because am hepatitis B positive.
"This means that mandatory tests
for hepatitis C no longer exist and
visa screening and deportation for
hepatitis B only applies to certain
professions.
It was in 2010 that the Ministry of
Health announced an overhaul of
the residency medical law.
Before then, examinations for both
forms of hepatitis applied to every
expatriate wanting to live and
work in the Emirates.
Previously, those seeking
employment visas in the country
found to have hepatitis C during
the screening process had to have
medical treatment, said Dr Salim
Awadh, consultant
gastroenterologist at the Advanced
Centre for Day Care Surgery, Abu
Dhabi.
Dr Awadh said the new laws mean
that visa screening tests for
hepatitis B now only applies to six
specified categories of expatriates
– nannies, housemaids, and
nursery workers; hairdressing
salon workers; beauty centre
workers; health club workers;
anyone working in processing or
food-control authorities; and those
in cafes and restaurants.
These are professions that have
more human-to-human contact, he
explained."
I am suppose to come in for a security job but I don't know where I'll be posted to serve as a security officer so I urgently need further explanation. Please! Please!! Please!!!
Hi Deen02,
I have the same issue ( Hep B ), and I have read this article and checked the information on the haad.ae website and its true ! only 6 categories are not allowed to enter or work in the UAE while they are Hep B carriers !!
What frustrates me is that most of the UAE companies does not employ staff with Hep B even though their job doesn't belong to the 6 categories. I have had 4 offers from the UAE in retail, once I told them about my health issue , they withdraw my application!!!!
!!!!!
so its a company's interior regulation issue.
Here is the link for my topic that I started earlier this week :
/forum/viewtopic.php?id=307552
Good luck.
Hey Tunisian_
Thanks for your reply. I guess I'll now have to ask the company if they will employ me with my health condition since you said they have the final say.
Thanks.
No Worries mate,
I'm doing the same thing as you! I Keep asking companies if they can employ me !
Good Luck
Hi Deen02 and Tunisian,
No need to ask for your employer, no need to tell them that you are HepB carrier. If you will not work under those 6 categories, you will pass the medical exam.
Hi All,
So, here is my story which I wanted to share with you all. I am a Hepatitis B positive person and I was like all you guys who was worried about this for getting my employment visa.
I am happy to share with you all that, I got my employment visa stamped on my passport
Story:
I am from a computer background, recently I have been offered by a dubai based company for a very good offer. I have already got a very good job in india where I was paid good for indian standard. I know very well I was Hep B +ve person and took up the interview for the dubai company and got selected.
At this time, a big question araised before me wheather to take this offer or not. It is because, what If i take the offer and after the medicals they deport me. If that is the case, I would lose my precious job which I already have.
I did my research in internet and found out that they check hep B only for person whose work category falls under 6 categories, however there was contracdicting report that people where checked for HepB inspite that they did not fall under that six category.
I was very much in doubt, but I called Dubai Health Authority, and said that I am a computer engineer and got a job in dubai and also i am a hep B positive person will I be allowed to get visa? They replied back saying yes you can, we will not any problem in that until the immigration does not have any problem.
With all this doubt surrounding, I took a bold decision to come into dubai quiting my job. Coz, I am sure that they wont consider HbsAg until you fall under that six category. My company applied for the visa I have under gone medicals and the result came out saying "Free from Infectious Dieases" I was elated and got my visa stamped on my passport.
So it is sure that Hep B is not been tested if your job category does not fall under 6 catergories. But I was wondering how come some ppl got tested for it and rest is history.
Must do for all the candidates who apply for visa :
When your company PRO applies for medical test make sure and get it confirm from them on what job profession they are applying the visa for. Make sure, the job profession in the visa application is mentioned as to the job related to you and not from any other categories.
All the process are computeriesed and pre decided, hence if the visa application it is mentioned as food handler and if your actual work is software engineer you will be tested for Hep B. Hence make sure your PRO applies in right category for you.
All the best for everyone and don't worry you will get through until your job is not in the 6 category.
Thanks.
i am from india. recently i was got offer from saudia arab but my hbsag was positive so i was unfit . my profession is Auditing/auditing. can any body tell me that am i eligible for dubai. plz. tell me urgent. i am very disapointed now

"there a hope... keep on walking"
Hi All,
I am not a newbie here, been a member way back since 2009. I got deported on that year that is why I joined this forum. Last December I got an offer in AbuDhabi, just today I got news my visa application was rejected. I am still on the blacklist, I actually asked a friend 6months ago to have my status checked on the Labor Department. It was only stated there that my visa was cancelled, was confident that I had no ban since when I exited I did not had any eye scan or whatever. I quit my job last month coz I was really confident I could go back. but to no avail Im still on the freakin' blacklist.Â
I can still remember one did try to come back to UAE, had his relative applied for the lifting of the ban, if you are out there please do enlighten me on how the procedures are done. My employer is very willing to do any means for me to go there.
Hey jai please pm me. Thanks.

Definitely worth a try. Transfer factor may boost your immune system so it can fight off the infection and viruses. A lot of positive results all over the web. I ordered from this site before, delivery was fast: buytransferfactor dot com
