Hi and welcome to the Forum.

It seems that most of the sailings now go into Antwerp (just down the coast from Rotterdam).  A quick Google search tells me that has scheduled the Atlantic Sun, a ro-ro type ship, so suitable to drive an RV on and off, sailing from New York on 28 May, it gets into Antwerp on 15 June (those dates aren't set in stone).  Sailings appear to be every 6 weeks, but other carriers may be available.

No idea on costs, it will very much depend on the actual length of your vehicle (they call it "lane metres"); my advice is to use Google and contact the shipping line.

Afterthought - I wouldn't plan on doing this until after the Coronavirus issue has gone away because until then, many countries have introduced restrictions on cross-border vacation travel and quarantine may become an issue, so you may find yourself stuck as the rules change around you.  Also check that your travel insurances cover you for Corona related issues because once something is declared a Pandemic, it is normally excluded from cover.  Also, your US motor insurance won't cover you in Europe as is, so you'll need to arrange European cover; also make sure all your regulatory inspections are in date for the duration of your trip.

Hope this helps.

To add, I've just read your other posts on our other Forums.  If Germany is your final destination, then you would need to apply for a resident/work permit; I'm not sure whether an RV would be eligible as a place of residence; I can see that Tom has already advised you on that; I will always defer to him and Beppi on things German.

I can tell you that I had a colleague who lived in an RV on an official site in the Netherlands while he and his wife worked as musicians in Germany; however, Dutch residency laws do not permit anyone to live in a temporary dwelling like an RV permanently, there is a maximum annual duration of 9 months - so they went to Australia for the other 3 months of the year and worked there; they did this for 10 years before they decided to start a family and moved back to the UK.

Hope this helps.
