Reef Island

Hey Guys

I am new here - my boyfriend and I will move from switzerland to Bahrain with our little dog. We will leave our country in two months and aren‘t sure where we should move to. A lot of people told us to go to amwaj with a dog. Yet amother friend said as we sre still young and like to go out and have a drink or to go shop it is more fun to be at reef island. Is there anybody with dogs who can tell me their experiance living with a dog in reef island? Can anyone suggest an agency for renting an apartment?

Best regards
Andrea

Yes you can

I would rather suggest that one person comes down, goes around and finds the best place to live which suits your requirement rather than deciding remotely.

That is true :)

Both Reef and Amwaj are dog friendly.  Figure out your place of work and commute times before you decide.

Reef island apartments are much more expensive than Amwaj.  But on the plus side, it is more central, being right next to City Center Mall and Seef area.

Thank you so much for your answer!

The best area to live now is Dilmunia island is next to amwaj openned only 2 years ago.

In fact i have moved from Reef island to Dilmunia island after few years. Dilmunia has better seaview, facilities, dancing fountain, opening private beach soon, a new mall openned with biggest family entertainment ice ring, sea aquarium etc... I know few apartments landlords rent starting from BD400 for 1 bedroom & BD550 to 800 for 2 bedrooms. I used to own 3 bedrooms but i sold it. You can contact me on what's up  ***

Saw your post when I was researching moving to Reef Island with our dog.

Have you found it pet friendly?

Thanks
