@XTang hello im working here in Saudi Arabia when I go for medical for iqama they saw my lung scar and they examine my saliva and I pass the medical.. now I want to cross country to dubai. Do you think I can pass the medical there because of my scar in lung?
Ask your physichian to crosscheck with the medical regulation text. He is only person that can advise you.
Depends on what they assess your lung scar as, in Dubai. If it is assessed as non-TB, you will pass. If it is assessed as an old TB scar and since you are applying for a new visa, you won't pass.
Hello, if anyone try to come to UAE by tourist visa? With life ban tb scars?
can you share this info with me plz
thank you
@XTang sir I have a question I got a year visa due to lung scarring. Can I renew my visa.is it for 1 year again or 3 years? Do I need to do the sputum test?
Keep going for the treatment schedule that they provided you with. If you follow that, at the end of it, you will be able to renew the visa.  The outcome will decide whether 1 year or 3 years.  Anyway, there is soon going to be no 3-year visas.........only 2-years.
@Xtang Thank you for your community messages... Its quite positive to see someone responding to all the messages. I was asked to do medicals again as they saw a small scar on my x-ray. I was asked if I ever had TB and I never had... However had Covid earlier this year... I was asked to do the blood test, Skin test and Sputum test as follow up... My skin test is negative (no TB). Is there a chance I will get FIT certificate? Many thanks for answering it. Â
Again, it is difficult to predict chance as the real question is : What does the doctor who is overseeing your results, diagnose it as?.
@xtang thanks for your response. So you mean to say its not important that its not TB... They also need to know why does the scar exists to decide on the next steps.
They don't need to know the reason. All that matters is, in their opinion, if they diagnose that scar as past TB or not.
10 years ago, I got banned from working in Dubai because of my lungscar, inactive ptb/primary complex, only discovered in UAE.
Today, my relative invited me to go there as a tourist only. Am I still allowed or what should be the process? I am using a new passport too.
Appreciate who can answer this.
You are banned. Even if you get a visa and arrive in the UAE; with the eye scan at the airport, they will find out and deport you.  This is assuming that when you were deported 10 years ago, they took an eye scan or fingerprints?
@XTang What if I have an old TB scar in the lungs, TB is inactive and I want to apply for a job in UAE?
Hi,i want to go to Dubai but my medical report here in Philippines say i have fibrosis with tiny granuloma in the lungs.Is it possible that i can get job in Dubai if i have this medical issue?
All of this has been covered before in this same thread. Read the previous replies and don't be lazy.
Can i ask , what if my scars is not active and its almost 16years , can i still passed the medical exam for dubai? Thanks
I have explained it before many many times. It does NOT matter how old or how active..........scar in lungs is a problem for the UAE on new visas.
@JustineBoy TVÂ try to have a pre-medical x-ray to see if the scar were visible. And before you do it try to drink fresh or sterilized milk.
@XTang Yes, I can't barely remember if they took that. Does it mean because of the lung scar I'll be banned in Dubai forever?
@dubaitourist214Â yes
@XTang
I was deemed unfit for my employment visa
I have started the cancellation process. I don’t know van status as of yet . My fiancé stays in the UAE
will it be possible for me to get a spouse visa if I have a permanent ban
Hi, Yes you can apply for a spouse visa only but first you have to apply for the ban remove after that only you can apply for the spouse visa
@Mohit Jain how to remove the ban from INDIA

Hi, sorry for the late reply. No need the medical certificates on the behalf of you your husband have to go immigration here in UAE with the documents like Marriage certificate, your previous visa, your passport copy, you husband emirates id, passport copy and visa copy. Need to submit in immigration and after that go to the medical center and ask them to send one paper to immigration to remove the ban.
I had done this process for my wife 6 month before.
@Mohit Jain hello, tell me plz how long take time this process? And if have any special rules about it? Minimum salary husband or some special viza from husband?
@Mohit Jain thank you so much
but what if I get a ban of not entering the uae on tourist visa that is what I am most scared of
@Ydrahaj thanks to your advise , what if the scar still visible but the sputum test is negative , what would happen? 😔
Can anyone tell me what is "Radiological Impression fibrosis left lower lung and left Diaphragmatic tenting ? 😔
Hello, can anyone tell me what is "Radiological Impression fibrosis left lower lung and left Diaphragmatic tenting? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Fibrosis is scarring. Tenting is a loss of volume in the lung or upper lobe collapse. To keep it simple, it is NOT a normal X-ray.
How they know if the scar is from tb , pneumonia or covid !? Do they know or they will just asked the person with scars in the lungs!?. Or there are any classification of scars to determine.
This is subject to medical diagnosis. They will do different tests and get opinions from specialists.
@XTang
Hi, i just want to clarify some things. I am still sort of confused.
I am currently working here in Dubai and planning to resign and look for a job in Abu dhabi as a Nurse. What's holding me is I have lung scars from severe lung infection diagnosed last 2021 of January here in Dubai.
If so I manage to look for a job in AUH, then will proceed for visa medical test including xray, they will see my scars.
*** Question is, what am I considered:
New visa or not? I am confused with NEW visa means ... just new in UAE or New visa because new employer.
Please enlighten me. Thank you so much
