@FLORENE ADOLFO they will not honor the attested medical certificate, if the company will apply a visa for your husband we're not sure if they will see the scar, best option is to apply a spouse visa, they will give 1 year residence visa renewable and he needs to do 6months follow up twice.

@XTang Hi. I have a friend who was deported due to lung scar. Is it possible to get a tourist visa?
@XTang

not working
@XTang hi. Is it possible to lift ban because of lung scar?
@XTang
Hi, my husband has got employment offer in Abu dhabi as an engineer in an engineering company, he would be applying for new visa from India, he got covid in 2021 which was severe and it left a mark , pleural thickening at the lower side of his right lung. Will the medical team retest him and will the employer support. He has never had tb not is currently having tb , the same document has been sent to the employer as well from a chest specialist in India. Will the employer consider and will the medical team in UAE take blood test and sputum test after discovering scar in lungs.
Pls revert it's a request
I answer this question every other day.  Browse the forums. Simple answer, no one can say.

@XTang Hi. Is it possible to lift ban? Thanks
@XTang
So there is a chance that they might do further test like sputum test or blood test or MT test, if they are suspicious, right ?
Does employer has any help in this regard?
Pls revert

Practically speaking, no.  Rarely, yes.

It is entirely up to them. And employer cannot help at all.
@Betty10. Yes its possible, depending upon the situation . Let me know if you want more info
I read some comments that you would be banned if you have an old TB scar on your lung... this is totally wrong... It depends on the series of tests that the health authority wants to do... If they are convinced that you have zero TB virus, you will be good to go for getting a visa.
I don't know where you read that.  I have repeatedly said that lung scars is not the issue. Lung scars being diagnosed as Old TB is the issue.
@dipti 1210 TB scar is upper part of the lung. That is why they will know if its TB or pulmonary
@Ml Gaming hv u or any of your close ones faced this test , if yes did the medical team mention this about this tb scar that it is on upper part
@dipti 1210 I have lung scar due to old TB. I search about it. How they know if lung scar is due to TB. TB scar is on thebupper part of the lung.
Medically speaking, TB scars are very distinctive. And if there is doubt, they can do tests to see if your body has TB infection. Keep in mind that even if you have latent TB (which a lot of people do), have never had TB but scars are doubtful, they can diagnose those scars as old TB due to the latent TB induration positive.
Dear XTang,
I would like to inquire that I have passed the Medical Check-up in Myanmar for work in Dubai with passport visit. My friend is working there and he called me for the worker in Dubai. But I have taken the TB medicine in 2020. And I passed the Medical test in Myanmar. But I have an old Koch's and I have an doctor recommend letter from Myanmar. Therefore, can I come to Dubai for the work? I have never been to Dubai. This is my first time. Thank you.
Dear Sir XTang,
   I would like to inquire that to get the visa for work in Dubai. I am from Myanmar. I have taken the TB medicine for six months in Myanmar. This was my first time.
 My friend is working in Dubai with passport visit. He called me for the work because worker needed and I would like to work. Therefore, I have checked the medical test in Myanmar and I passed. But the doctor said that you need to make sure with the Dubai because you have an old Koch's and she wrote for the recommendation letter for me because she doesn't want me to lose this opportunity. Therefore, if I will come to Dubai, I can pass the visa? Should I come? Thank you for your kind sir.
If there are any TB scars (visible in X-ray) and you are coming to UAE first time, my advice is not to come.
@XTang
Hello,
My husband's employer is issuing a visit visa and calling him ( new visa) as last week his tb gold quantiferon test came negative , the test is done in India , after landing in Abu dhabi also , employer has asked us to get a quantiferon tb test from government centre and keep the results handy if in case the medical team asks. The scars on the lungs are from covid. Also we are planning to carrying the covid reports and hospitalisation discharge summary , will that be enough, or do we need any other document in our defense. We have also got a medical fit certificate report from a renowned pulmonologist from here ( India), thinking of getting it attested as well. Will this suffice to get our work visa .
Pls revertðŸ™

Get report attested. Ideally get one from the UAE.Â
  @XTang
Not many scars sir, just one. If so, can I come sir?

I already answered you. If visible scars (doesn't matter one or ten) which indicate past TB, don't come.
Hello XTang
I have an old TB scar and my husband wants to sponsor me as he lives in Abu Dhabi .
Will I get the residency visa?
Kindly respond
@roomanazahoora - if you have negative results then you dont need to worry about anything, follow your heart.
