Hello brother.. Just want to enlighten about this, When my iqama will expire and wait after 3 days can my new employer renew it and transfer me without need of approval from my previous company? I ask this because the status of my current company is platinum.. Thank you

@JinJin1234 once his iqama expired even for 1 day he can accept already the request in qiwa or he will need 3 days before he will accept it?

Sure coz my iqama is expiring on 29th October 2022 .so I wait for how long before telling my new employer to send contract. And is it sure deal automatic transfer

your New employer can send you a request for transfer immediately after your Iqama expires and you can accept it. You don’t  need to wait for 3 days. just after midnight of the day of your Iqama expiration.

Wrong information. The government have allowed the grace period of 3 days to the companies for iqama renewal after expiry. Let's assume it's Friday on which the iqama got expired. So, company is not responsible for the

holiday problem.

Hi everyone,

My Iqama was expired last December 02, 2021 (Thursdays), my New Employer send the request December 03 (Friday at 1am) and the transfer of sponsorship is completed on the day itself.

Once iqama is expired a day after, new employer can process the transfer directly.

No, you cannot.

Ask your current company to cancel the exit visa to procced the company transfer if they will allow you.

@alex2588 This is true that is why I advised that transfer request should be ready oce Iqama expired midnight or early morning and accept it before the current company renew the Iqama. Its a matter of time🙂

I am new in KSA.My sponsor still not yet make IQAMA. After 20 days will be finish 90 days.Sponsor color is Platini.I have 2 question that:

1: If Sponsor fail to make Iqama can I transfer without consent to another sponsor? There is any problem If other sponsor color is green or low green?

2.If Sponsor make my Iqama then Iqama Expired can I make transfer without consent to another sponsor? There is any problem If other sponsor color is green or low green?

@fhdenric it worked? My iqama is going to expire in 11th June and today i got request in qiwa. If i accept it after 1 week. I will be transfer automatically?

Easy to transfer to another company if your iqama expired without current sponsor approval.many of my colleagues (arounds 12 staff) already transferred to another companies with the same condition. Now they're enjoyed with the new company .

Hi. I am from India and I come with work visa of 3 months and now my visa is expired. I joined a company in Riyadh and they told me they will transfer my Iqama after 60 days. But still my Iqama is not transferred and it’s been 4month I am working in the company. How can I raise complaint to labour court regarding this.

My situation is that i have been approved to be transferrable iqama, i was able to be hired by a certain company and made me worked with them for 4 months until i have finished the project. during my hiring my boss promised me that they will process the transfer. unfortunately, i have been informing our HR that i am receiving MOI message and from my bank as well that my iqama is expiring. but they didn't transfer me  instead after completing the project their terminated my contract. due to nonexistence of new projects. Now my iqama had expired last May 6, 2024 and its been expired now for 6 days already. I have been trying to find another job from another company. Question is how many valid months is required for a transfer? and is it my responsibility to renew my iqama at my own expense? or the  new company if perhaps i found one? Now i have asked  my previous company since they allow me to be transferrable that they can help me renew my iqama but i need to pay for it? Please can someone advise me of my situation?
