I don't know what is taking so long for them to give an answer. It has been 4 month already.

My HR got in contact with person who has been handling my case. He sent an email on 22nd November that it still requires little bit of time.

It has been really frustrating

Hello everyone!

My hosting organization is applying now for a Single Permit in Brussels, since I鈥檓 a citizen of third world country and currently I live in Czech Republic, I will need apply for a VISA D. But I have a question, can I apply for a Visa D with Work Permit approval or I should also wait for Annexe?

鈥淥nce you will get the visa D, you go to Belgium and within 8 working day you need to register at the local Belgian municipality and apply for the Belgian residency card.鈥� that鈥檚 what the embassy said. Is the Annexe and residency card the same thing?

I have recently checked my emails and my file was sent to Immigration for processing around 7th September.

So I hope now they will be giving me answer regarding my work permit status and soon hopefully.

I can see that Flanders and Brussels are already issuing RPs to applicants who got their WPs in October, and this leaves me wondering about the order of priority at the Immigration Office (I have applied as a highly qualified worked)

Still haven't heard from those in charge of processing the permit, and it doesn't make sense as my employers haven't been told anything is wrong with my application. One thing I can see is that there's no clear pattern for Wallonia but for the fact that work permits are granted within days.

The only choice I have is to keep waiting ^_^

I was told 8-10 weeks after WP approval as well (for Brussels, to be precise).

When was your WP approved? Can you please share the date?

For Brussels it is 8-10 weeks. Even if you send an email you鈥檒l get the same standard timeline. But our immigration agency spoke to them and they informed that they are having serious delays currently. The processing time is 15 weeks for files from Brussels. Few files go for additional checks( public safety etc, which delays the process further by 3-4 weeks)

@bhagwanbsr Yes, it seems like the whole of the Brussels zone migrations is sleeping. I haven't seen any of annexure 46 getting approved so far in the previous month. I applied for mine on 6 October and got the WP in 10 days but since then there is no update. I am waiting for annexure 46 to start my job, I am already in Belgium since I was a student here. It's demoralizing now.

@hypatiaa Today i have tried to get in contact with townhall for Anex15 . Auto record said that "Due to cyber attack they cant access to database"

Also contacted with聽 MIGRATION ECONOMIQUE they said that "everything is ok with file and聽 they are processing."

With this hard working determination i guess soon they will split the atom in Brussel.
