Single Permit Processing in 2022

@maharaji1984

By region I meant the employment office for your region.

You send them an email with your situation. they should be able to help you!

By the way did you check with your employer if the work permit was approved meanwhile ?

It is possible that it was approved and sent to immigration for approval of stay. In this case Your employer should have received the document of work authorization.

maharaji1984

@karthick_ i have been told by employer : All files has been sent to employment office(its in Brussel)

Also last Friday they said:

Worker status have to change as High skilled worker.

This change of status implies that a labor market survey with Actiris must be carried out.

Which is the file stage currently. We are waiting for their feedback to finalize the renewal decision.

The previous authorization ending here as stipulated, the worker can go to the municipal administration with the admissibility document obtained in order to apply for a temporary residence permit. Which will remain valid for the rest of the procedure, which I hope will be as short as possible.

And yes when i go to municipality with a paper from employment office where say quote above, they dont give any Annex unless if i have Work Permit or Annex46.

In this case how we are supposed to be legal in Belgium if i cant have a paper from townhall?

@maharaji1984

sorry to hear but its a tricky situation,

but just to know if you have started working as a expat you should be already a highly skilled employee (with minimum salary standards) , not sure how its impacting during your renewal!

however you should walk in again to your commune before your expiry with the document from employment office to see what you should do ! Sorry I guess we have no option other than try again.

meanwhile send an email to your employer and employment office about the issue you face with the commune , employment office can suggest something.

@maharaji1984

Hey,

Did you hand over your ID to them?

It's weird; they didn't give me any annex. I'm also waiting for my WP.

maharaji1984

@Sadegh Darvishi Nop.Still on the safe hands :D As @karthick_ said its tricky.

I have gone there 6 times and got it on the 6th time.

What i have seen there, workers doesnt know how the procedure should work.Everyone asking another one.

Good luck on your adventure!

@maharaji1984

Indeed, no one knows what to do.

I said I don't have any documents to resid in Belgium, they said fine you have to wait for Brussels, the capital of Patient land.

maharaji1984

@Sadegh Darvishi thats exactly what i have been told. One of my friend cal, to get annex49 his current residence card has  been taken by municipality and given an annex49 for 45 days valid.
