Hello everyone
IÂ arrived in Belgium on December 19 after receiving a single permit and visa D.
I live in Antwerp at the moment. When I arrived I went to the municipality of Borgerhout, where they told me to head to the Immigration Office of Antwerp to declare my arrival and request annex 49.
Unfortunately there I got no precise response either. They told me that the schedule 49 application is done online and the site is still offline right now after being hacked in December for this type of application. I've been trying to get Schedule 49 for more than two weeks now to be able to work and fit in well. What can I do to speed up this procedure?
Anyone in the same situation please? ðŸ™ðŸ»

Hello ,
I am not sure , if this is a new rule, but once you arrive in Belgium , you go to the commune for registration.
and meanwhile you have the right to work as you have a valid work and stay authorization.
@Zack Anayaro
Not sure if I understand your question correctly.

You have to book a TLS appointment from now, either by choosing the premium service, which allows booking an appointment within 1-2 months with additional fees approx. 350 DT, or you can address the consulate and request them to accelerate the appointment date; sometimes it works!
Best wishes

I had an appointment today for type D visa and got the visa starting today. Can someone please clarify whether I can start working before receiving Annex 49? because I don't want to initiate the registration process at the commune before finding a long term residence.
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this forum, it was a great help for me personally and I wish best of luck to everyone 😊
@Expat_1034 you can’t start working without annex 49. You need to go to the city hall of your temporary residence for an arrival notice, I think they ask your temporary address and they give you an annex 49. I have some friends first stayed at airbnb about 2-3 months but got their annex 49 any way start working. Our employer is working with an international recruitment service that arranges all the applications and appointments so I don’t know all the details, this is what they told me.
