I do not know, maybe Financial or Economic Specialist is like Consultant that does not require socpa membership.

As of now you have 3 options.

1. Enroll to any socpa accredited university which is expensive.

2. Go exit and come back to right profession.

3. Talk your HR to help you in this matter.

My profession on Iqama Financial Clerk.

I not have any certificate or Diploma. How can change my iqama profession because MOI not allow to Labor card.

If you do not have any Diploma or Degree please change the profession from Accountant to Non Accountant because if SOCPA Cancel the membership you may not be able to get renewal of ID.

Hello everyone, my profession in Iqama is currently salesman and I want to change it to any of the accounts related role like Accountant, Financial Analyst or maybe auditor. How do I do it? Can anyone suggest me what all procedures I would have to do for that?

@Ashhh112 hPassport%20size%20photo&text=Scanned%20copy%20of%20the%20degree,Transcripts%2FMarksheet%20(optional).You do not need your degree to be attested as you are going to pay 500 sar for verification process and Socpa does its own verificationYour Degree needs to be Full time done from college/campus (No online / Distance course) (B.Com and any other professional course)Atleast 15 hours of academic hours in accounting. (BBA / BAF / BBI / BMS) These Degrees don't have enuf academic hours its around 6-9 hours afaik. If you apply for socpa membership and its found out that you don't have enuf academic hours, they'll tell u take a course either offline (22000 Sar) or online (9500 Sar) and if u cant choose to do either, It'll be difficult for you to renew ur iqama as ull be blocked from doing so...Be careful when you apply for Socpa and be sure your company / hr team supports you.... Else ull be sent on final exit.After this is all done socpa will give you membership and you can renew ur iqama and change ur profession to whats required.

I have Diploma 2 Years (Accounting and Finance).

This Diploma with Regular Classes not online.

But do not know SOCPA shall accept or no.

I do not have any issue for verification process because if they proceed in verification my collage shall verify inshallah.

Shabir you need to change your Iqama profession from Accountant.

For Accountant Profession it required Degree or Diploma with 15 Hours of Accounting Subjects.

If you do not have sorry need to change profession only.

Hi, My name is Kashif and I am from Pakistan. I have recently joined a compnay here with the Profession " ACCOUNTANT" However my profession on Iqama is "Aamil Bana".  I just want to know if only ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP OF SOCPA will work to change profession on Iqama or will I have to get attested my B.COM degree from Saudi Culture and Consulate. My Qualification is B.COM, besides holding Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA : I am also member of IFA (Institute of Financial Accountants - UK) and IPA (Institute of Public Accountants - Australia).   

1. Degree need attestation from saudi culture and consulate from home country.

2. Change profession , you can request your company hr to change it with 1k SAR approx fee.

3. Register in SOCPA with b.com degree, diploma will not work.

A. Temporary certificate, after final review by SOCPA , if there are no comments they will issue final certificate as a associate member. ( in both condition you will SOCPA member) and can perform your duties without any violation.

B. First time fee 800- 850 and for one year , and from next year 300-350

@Iu Khan I can get SOCPA Associate Membership with my Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA it's specifically written on their website. I don't need to show B. Com Degree for Associate Membership.  However my question is that my Profession on iqama can be changed on SOCPA Membership only or I have get the degree attested as well.

@XTang Hi. I am here on Financial Analyst Iqama and didn't require SOCPA registration for issuance of iqama. But, now my iqama is due for renewal in a couple of months. Do I need SOCPA for the renewal or not? If it is required for renewal, what options do I have if SOCPA doesn't recognize my certification?

To be clear, I have CA intermediate (PK) and I came here on its basis.

@shahzad arshad financial analyst is not under socpa occupations list. Your iqama should get renewed without having to register with socpa.

My Iqama profession is Accountant, I have not registered in SOPCA yet. My role with my current employer is IT Process Manager. Is it good to change the profession or register in SOPCA before renewing my Iqama?  Also, my B.com degree is apostille attested. Will SOPCA membership require Saudi Cultural attestation or is Apostille good enough?

i have just asked my company to change profession on iqama on the basis of this document. will there be any issue at the time of iqama renewal?

I have labor visa but working as a accountant in a company in KSA, I have 4-Yr BS Commerce Degree + MBA can i avail SOCPA membership my degree is already verified from HEC and MOFA its enough for SOCPA Or need to verify from saudi embassy & culture too kindly need your guidance

your HR should request qiwa and then u should approve

then HR should approve from muqeem and pay 1,000

My new company sending request on 28 September 2024, i accepted request and my previous company didn't accept and didn't reject, in between i terminate the contract, once it terminated but after that it have being error, 14 days completed but still this request in pending from current employer. Please guide me when it will be transfer and what it is next step.

actually my joining date is 21 November 2023 but in qiwa contract my joining date is 19 December, my leaves 1 month is pending.
