Hi, Am likely to move to Ethiopia for a long stay early next month. Would be in Mekelle. I have seen a lot of queries on various aspects for Addis but could somebody be kind enough to give me some more details about Mekelle in terms of accommodation for family, place and other amneties. Mekele is kind of a quite city comparing to other cities in Ethiopia social life is good people are very friendly and welcoming for a family life I personally think you would enjoy it. House rental not far from the University of Mekele you will find a very decent house for not more than 3000 Etb per calender month (ground plus one with three bedroom).
