My 5 tips to settle/live successfully in Gabon:
- Get your residency card;
- Be a small business owner if not employed ( healthcare business is very rewarding )
- Build or buy a small house instead of renting in Port Gentil. It's a little affordable to rent in Libreville;
- Be opened-minded with the local people;
- and do the right things - lawful
