I've been talking to some Americans lately and they find that the medical charges here are small compared to the cost in America but of course it depends on the salary you are getting here. A relative went into a private clinic recently and it cost about GhC3000 for 10 days of intensive care and that included all the drugs.
A lot of people use WARA who help with emergency care and their costs are around $50 per month for a family. There are other providers but I think they are quite expensive.
