hi all,

i am new to ghana and just got a job proposal from a school for the post of teacher. It would be for the primary classes like 3rd to 5th and i am confused as to what would be the best salary i could ask for. can somebody tell me how much is offered in accra for a teacher's job?

Salary is only one component of the package you should expect from your employer. Your salary will depend on what you have to pay for and what is covered by your employer. If accommodation, medical coverage, airfares etc are included then your salary will reflect that

ok i cant really tell you what is the range of salary u can go through, but what i know is that the teachers are not waged well from my personal experience, i was giving french lecturer from class 1 to 6 and i was remunerated 120GHC and it was full time, i finally resign
