city market - pork and chicken - 40% cheaper than above butcheries - great seafood, fresh crab,  calamari, prawns, kingfish, barracuda etc - dont go to this market alone however

Hi,

I can highly recommend Gilani's at ABC.  A great range of meat, delicatessen and fish - tilapia and nile perch fillets are usually large.  The quality is very good, but inevitably prices are higher than the markets, where you also have to be very careful about quality.

There is also a decent butcher at Lavington Green Shopping Centre (or certainly was when I was there a few months ago).  Prime Cuts is very expensive.  Personally, I would avoid prawns completely.

thank you for your advice! we'll look for these places.

Gilani's at ABC place and butchers at village market mall (sorry dont know the butchers name) are good for meat.

but i prefer Aloha's in Westlands for fish.

nakumatt, not a great option
