Don't you know that everyone wants to be in the elite!  VIP is what we all aspire to become.  But really, I can only speak for myself and say that I do not change my ethics based on where I live.  To a certain part, I do follow "when in Rome, do what Romans do."  However, that is only with superficial aspects.  How I treat others and what I believe does not change and when it comes to racism, I have no tolerance for it.  Racism lives in every country and it is on the rise.  We are really stupid and easily forget histories lessons.

I would agree with you, BlueJay, that everyone wants to be in the elite. I don't consider myself "in", but am perfectly happy where I fit in and think that I probably suffer from less headaches and annoyances because I'm on the perifrial. As far as the initial question goes - I would definetly say that it is easiest to be a racist in this country...

There is a difference between earning an elite status through diligence or rightful inheritance, and being a blatant elitist. I admit, classism (as well as racism and chauvinism) are a rich source of humor. But when push comes to shove, one should restrain his/her devils, which, I propose, is harder to do here.

As for white cars, I moved on. What I do now is throw water balloons on people from my balcony. Then go inside to watch them from behind the window--plenty more fun.

oh, and Mudman uses puppies for his dart practice.

come to think of it, if you're required to wear a funny yellow hat, or display a conspicuous blue square on your car plate just because you're of a different nationality, it becomes harder NOT to be prejudgemental.
