Don't forget to include "various other costs", such as:
* visa (for investors much higher than in many other countries), for example about 700 € for 5 years.
* bribes for "unforeseen events", such as defend yourself against blackmailing by judges, tax inspectors,
getting permits for various activities etc
You might call this corruption - but when your innocent employee or family member is put in prison and
you do not want to let him stay there for years...
In the past 5 years, corruption has developed into blackmailing and mafia methods ("if you do not
 pay...").
Company directors who invested 200 to 400,000 € are often too afraid to NOT pay into the private
pockets of tax inspectors - some company owners were expulsed mano militari - and they do not even
 know why up to date.
* Theft, damage due to mishandling (often by your staff) or other losses
Madagascar was just classified into the worst of all categories by COFACE, as a country of high political risk (A1-A4 = countries with a high degree of investment security; B-D the rest, D being the absolutely worst. This is where Madagascar is now).
