Did anyone get the critical skills visa? what's Requirement and Procedure ?

Hello there

Yes, I did received mine last Friday.
Procedure depends of what is your qualification. In my case, for the Engineering category, I had to take proof of application for registration with the council of Engineers of SA.

Completing the documents for submissions took long (the ECSA registration and the police clearance) and it was a pain! But after submitted it took just a bit more than a month.聽 I was in the Engineering category without a job contract, so only got it for 12 months; but if you have a contract you can get it up to for 5 years.
Are you already in SA? Do you already have a job offer? If so, check if your company is listed to make use of the Priority facility at Sandton, it is more expensive but it is suppose to take half of the time.

I applied for pr via vfs in July 2014.so far it's been a year,no communication is made to me.did anyone received any verdict,while applied for any visa via vfs?
