Now, regarding visa categories.. other than a Tourist visa, are you able to obtain a Business visa or any other visas..? Which permits you longer stay in the country..

Getting married in just 10 days..! I’m a bit skeptical, unless your boyfriend does everything and keeps every thing ready.

Most case scenarios.. @ Tunis airport immigration may ask you information about your stay in the country, and as long as you have a hotel booking and the confirmation that should satisfy the immigration officer to clear you out. I do not think Tunisian embassy in Berlin would call the hotel to confirm your stay.

Perhaps, you may want to keep your boyfriend’s information handy.. in case.. if needed.

    Hi i am new here,  I am a Filipino Citizen but currently living in Germany. I just want to ask you guys if u know what kind of Visa do i need to apply if i want to go to Tunisia and marry my Boyfriend? Can i use Tourists Visa in this case?  I Plan to go this April and stay for 10 days and within that span of time we will get married. And do Tunisian Embassy check or calls the Hotel you book to confirm you really stay in that Hotel u booked? are there instances like that happened to you before? I cant stay longer cause my remaining vacation is only 10 days left. Do u know how long is the process of wedding there in Tunisia? We Plan to have simple wedding. He told me to just bring the necessary documents like the marriage License.

Hello..

Wedding process in Tunisia can take between few days to few years..  unfortunately, i can not say definite time frame because its all depends on many factors such as documents needed, place or office of marriage,  etc..  etc..

i also recommend you to read through entire Tunisia forum, where a lot more information especially from individual’s personal experiences of getting married in Tunisia, what happened after the  marriage,  joy, sorrows and  grief of getting married to a Tunisian, the forum also has a lot of information and or questions about getting divorce from Tunisian husband. It would be helpful and informative and can help you to make an informed decision in your life.
