My fiance wants to send me money from Tunis but we are having troubles finding away do to the closed currency there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thnx

He can send you money thorough Moneygram or Western Union without any problem...(if less than $500US). Also, some Tunisians use Paypal.

If I am not mistaken Tunisian citizens are not allowed to send money abroad through western union. Thats what I heard.

Aqil, it's truth some people cannot send money via Moneygram and Western Union; some need authorization from La Banque Centrale. But some people are able to do wiring, transfers, and send money. So my advise is to visit one of the cooperates Western Union in Tunisia and ask them directly.tunisia.westernunion.com/WUCOMWEB/staticMid.do?method=load&pagename=agentsTunisia
