Bringing Western small appliances to China

jsbmeb

Hey,
I need an expat to tell me if it's reasonable to bring a couple small appliances from home to China. Specifically I want to bring a good blender and my Kitchen Aid mixer.  Is it completely insane to get a them rewired for China? If not, any recommendations as to whether I should do this in the US or when I arrive in China? Where?
Or would you trust an adapter/converter? If so, which one and where should I buy?
Thanks!

Hi there,

An adapter will work perfectly fine with your appliances brought from USA.  Rewiring is not need.

You can buy adapters from any big supermarkets in China. Quality brands such as Bull, Soben have good reputations which you can trust with.
